Mastersingers USA has announced initial plans for an International Tour to the Tuscany Region of Italy from June 20 through June 28, 2013. As of February 20, the following concerts have been scheduled:
SATURDAY, JUNE 22 – MONTECATINI – late afternoon concert
SUNDAY, JUNE 23 – MASS performance – location to be confirmed
MONDAY, JUNE 24 – ASSISI – MASS performance at noon – location to be confirmed
TUESDAY, JUNE 25 – CORTONA – evening concert
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26 – FLORENCE (PITTI PALACE) – Friends of Florence – late afternoon concert
THURSDAY, JUNE 27 – SAN GIMIGNANO – evening concert

MastersingersUSA is a choir of 60 men from across the United States that performance a wide-ranging program of sacred music, folk songs from around the world, and American spirituals. The award-winning group, founded in 1995, has performed across the U.S. and in 20 foreign countries. Among its accolades was First Place in the Male Choir Competition at the International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales in 2003. In 2005, the group was chosen to represent the United States in the First International Congress of Men’s Choirs in Barcelona, Spain. The musical director of the Mastersingers USA is Prof. Bruce McInnes. Prof. McInnes career spans nearly 50 years as a music professor at Amherst College and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, as well as other institutions. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Music at the University of Maine at Farmington, where he conducts the UMF Community Chorus.
