MastersingersUSA Announce Multiple Performances in Milwaukee, WI June 13-14, 2014

 

Mastersingers USA (MUSA) has announced multiple appearances in Milwaukee WI over the weekend of June 13-14, 2014. On June 13, MUSA has been invited to sing the National Anthem before the Milwaukee Brewers game against the Cincinnati Reds. On June 14, the group will provide the musical accompaniment for the 4:30 pm Mass at Church of the Gesu (1145 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI), followed by a full concert which begins at 5:45 pm.

ABOUT MASTERSINGERS USA

Mastersingers USA is a choir of 50 men from across the United States which performs a wide-ranging program of sacred music, folk songs from around the world, and American spirituals. Founded in 1995, the award-winning group has performed across the U.S. and in 20 foreign countries. Its accolades include First Place in the Male Choir Competition at the International Musical Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales in 2003. In 2005, the group was chosen to represent the United States in the First International Congress of Men’s Choirs in Barcelona, Spain. The musical director of the Mastersingers USA is Prof. Bruce McInnes. Prof. McInnes career spans nearly 50 years as a music professor at Amherst College and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, as well as other institutions.
