The Mastersingers USA depart on their ninth international tour this week, celebrating thirty years of singing with a return trip to Vienna, Salzburg, Bad Ischl and our beloved Obdach in Austria. Our venues are mostly distinguished churches, and we are singing in venues and cities familiar from earlier Mastersingers trips, as well as some college glee club tours over the years.

     The Mastersingers, represented this year by about 40 singers from across the US (and a few European countries), gathers once a year for an intense long weekend of rehearsing and fellowship. We've sung in more than a dozen European countries, and almost as many US cities, the highlight of which was our World Championship in the Men's Choral Division of the Welsh National Choral Festival in 2003. Videos of many of our performances are available on our website and on YouTube - one recent adventure was singing the National Anthem at Fenway Park in 2023.
